"Agape (Ancient Greek ἀγάπη, agapē) is a Greco-Christian term referring to unconditional love, "the highest form of love, charity" and "the love of God for man and of man for God". Within Christianity, agape is considered to be the love originating from God or Christ for humankind" (Wikipedia, 2020). At Agape Farms, we use the very meaning of agape love to do what we love and in turn give back to our customers - an animal that they can know has been well cared for, loved and raised with the highest of standards. We are a small, family run farm raising quality AKC Golden Retrievers and cage free chickens. We aim to not just seek profit and raise our animals for business, but to give back to our customers. Our goldens are a part of our family and raised in our home. We put our dogs through training and are working towards therapy dog certifications. Our puppies will come from extraordinary working dog parents. Our breeding stock of chickens are exceptional and we hope that you will think so too. We provide care for your fur baby as if they were our own, and ensure that they receive the highest quality care while you're away.
Our beloved goldens. They definitely have our hearts! Our goldens are AKC registered, health tested through Embark. Our goldens are more than dogs to us, they are family. We take them with us nearly everywhere we go. They make us so very proud and we love them very much. All puppies will be sold no sooner than 8 weeks of age. They will have age appropriate vaccinations, regular deworming and will be vet checked. Microchipping available upon request. They will be sold with full or limited AKC rights at our discretion.
We have begun raising Mini-Juliana pigs. This is a project our daughter has been wanting to get into and we had an opportunity to make it happen for her. She loves training her pigs tricks and scratching their bellies. Many breeders will tell you that these mini pigs will stay very small their whole life. While our pigs are over year old and still pretty small, keep in mind that these pigs usually grow for about 5 years and will continue to gain weight. While they might not grow out to be the size of a butcher hog, they will not be 20 lbs full grown. That is simply unhealthy. Our pigs are spoiled rotten and very loved. Once we get our litters up and going, they will be advertised on here as well.
Scottish Highland cows are a game changer for us! I am notorious for being horribly scared of cows.... until I got into highlands. These cows are so docile, smaller in stature and are oh so cute with their wooly coats. I love brushing their long fur, hand feeding our cattle and just admiring how breathtaking they are on our pasture. While we do not butcher any of our animals on the farm, highlands are a better meat choice for someone who is looking into beef production. Highlands are higher in protein and iron than other meat counterparts and more nutritious as it has lower levels of fat and cholesterol and well marbled. We have registered and unregistered cows, so if you are looking for that we should have you covered. We will sell calves on this page as they become available.
Our goats are just about as cute as they come and oh so curious. We have Boer goats and one sweet Nubian. Some are registered at 100% so if you are looking for a registered herd, we can try to help you out with their kids. Once again, while these are great for meat and milk production, we do not butcher any of our animals on our farm. Everyone here is here to stay and a part of our family. Once we get babies, we will be selling kids from our offspring.
Our chickens are by far my favorite group of chickens I have ever had, and I have had countless numbers of chickens. They are very hardy. Because they are cage free, we usually get barnyard mixes for chicks rather than purebred. This is ok, by me because we get some of the best, unique and colorful chicks this way. If you would like eggs, please let us know. We are always happy to sell any excess eggs we have, and we are also very happy to sell eggs to incubate at home too. We love our chickens and think that everyone should have chickens and want to help in any way we can. We usually have easter egger chicks and many dark egg layers. Because of this, some of the eggs can be very difficult even with the brightest of lights to candle and see if they are fertilized. As a result, we do not guarantee that you are getting fertilized eggs but due to the number of roosters to hens that we usually keep, the chances are pretty high.
Please understand that having a new pet is a big commitment in time and money. Please research the animal you are looking for and understand what type of time and financial commitment you are looking getting into. Please let us know if you have any questions. We do not claim to have all the answers, but we are pretty knowledgeable and most likely have been through it before. If we don't have an answer, we would be happy to try to help you find what you are looking for. Also, please stay in touch after you get your pet. We love to hear stories about what is going on with them and watch them grow as well. Hope to help you find the perfect pet for you!

Available puppies and piglets will be posted on our website and Facebook page. Puppies and piglets will be reserved in order of deposits received. Puppies will be sold only to approved homes and with limited or full AKC registration at our discretion. Both puppies and piglets require a non-refundable deposit, with the only exception is if something was to happen to the puppy or piglet prior to pickup. In the rare case that this would happen, you would get a full refund. All puppy prices and descriptions are listed in the available puppies section. Limited registration just means that there are no breeding rights to the dog, these are for pet homes only but can still be registered.
Puppies will not be sold before 8 weeks of age. You're more than welcome to FaceTime or come by and see your puppy before pickup. We do ask that if you want to come visit the puppies in person that you are committed to one of our puppies through paying a deposit. All puppies will be vet checked with age appropriate vaccinations prior to pickup. We regularly deworm at home. Microchipping available at an additional cost. We also send out weekly pictures during the waiting time with updates.
Yes! We have puppies in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Puppies can be shipped to approved homes only. We work with a shipping company out of Arkansas who is certified and insured with no puppies ever on the ground for transport. It is a door to door service, meaning they pick up from our door and drive straight to your door, making other puppy deliveries along the way. You are responsible for their transport fee at drop off to you. We trust this company and we will send videos prior to leaving our home, but hold no responsibilities/liabilities after the puppies leave our home and ask that you agree to this when choosing this service. Pick up from us in person is always and option! We will only ship after at least video chatting with you to ensure that our puppies will be going to an approved home.
We currently accept payments though Cash App, Venmo, Zelle and cash payments.
